Best pho in ConnecticutI have #11 everytime
If you drive by Pho Saigon , it looks like a dive hole in the wall. The interior isn't a whole lot better. The food is pure Viet Nam. Worth a trip from anywhere in the area. Portion sizes are huge. Taste is outta sight. Prices are extremely reasonable. Been there for lunch and dinner. Skip the Fancy places and go to the real deal Pho Saigon
This place used to be good. Now it's a roach motel. I stopped going after I found a baby cockroach floating in my pho. Never been back since. There are other places around now to patron. This place should be crossed of your list.
The food was incredible! The prices were much cheaper than any other Pho place that I have visited too. Very good.
Jewell of a find / best Pho ever!!!!!
Good soup.Hit and miss with the crowd. Haven't ventured much past the soups, fried spring rolls, summer rolls, and their fried pancake thing
One of my favorite places to get pho!!!! You don't come here for the service, you come for the food.
Excellent quality food, and big portions with reasonable prices. Excellent and prompt, professional service, nice atmosphere, and nice selection and menu. A customer came in my shop last night and raved and raved about the beef stew soup. So I just had to try this place and glad I did. Soup was delicious and healthy. My husband ordered the vegetables over fried noodles also excellent. I can see why they were awarded best Vietnamese restaurant in 2014.
I find myself going here at least once a week now. I'm obsessed. I never feel crappy afterwards, the food tastes good and fresh, and it's quick. I always get the #1 Combination Pho. Their iced coffee with condensed milk is also the way to go. Also every time I go in there, there is always a very diverse crowd meaning that everyone likes it.
Good is great, really inexpensive, the area is really sketchy so lock your doors! Customer service isn’t the best but the food makes up for it!!
Possibly the best pho spot in CT!
This is one of the only places in Bridgeport (currently) where you can het some authentic & tasty Vietnamese Noodles (Phó) for a decent price.
This was some pho-king good dish.
The food was good and it was only us and 1 other person so we order boba and then we get our food first and shrugged it off. I'd say 30 min go by and nothing so we ask them and they say what 5 boba ok we'll get on it. I understand the employee amount is small but still after we asked it only took 10 min. They just forgot our order and we asked for the bill they didn't bring it so we had to ask another employee for it. The food is good however customer service could use some improvement
Great little place, pretty much the most legit Vietnamese food you can get without driving to Manhattan. Decent quantity for good price, good variety of selection. Pretty non-frill place.Tip: want tea? There are usually pots of tea on the counter near the kitchen. Small cups for tea can be found on the rack just inside the door to the kitchen.
Great food at great prices. Sketchy area and service.
Unfortunately, the customer service was lacking. We felt like we were a bother. We quietly sat and waited. We saw the menu was pretty and were commenting this when the lady came to us and pretty much asked "what u want". I understand that there may be a language barrier but a smile translates to all nations. After we ate we felt let down by the rush to get us out of the place. Needless to say we felt unwelcome.
Food was good but service sucked!!! Rude, couldn't be bothered to provide answers to questions. Very rude but good food.
Great fresh food. The Pho is amazing.
The good was good but the service was pretty bad. When asked what fish came in a particular dish, the waitress just pointed to a grainy photo; no further explanation. Then, at 8:00, someone else came up to us and asked if we were done because it's 8:00 - apparently closing time. He even pointed to the clock on the wall!
Great food but poor service. A little or any enthusiasm from the waitress would be nice. Would of stood for awhile to be seated and waited awhile to be able to pay.
Don't let the simple surroundings fool you this place is amazing. Do you enjoy large bowls of soup, steaming with goodness and fresh herbs? What about noodles plenty of those here too. The number 31 might be one of the most perfect dishes for under $9 I've ever had. Sweet and sour sauce over noodles, roast pork, shrimp, chopped lettuce, diced spring rolls with a sprinkle of peanuts over the top. Not to be outdone the number one mixed beef soup is also my go-to order. I am not ashamed to admit that I order both meals everytime I visit. Every Time. One number one plus a number 31 as my appetizer with a Thai bubble tea. All together costs me less than $20. That's a bargain for this much happiness.
The house special never fails to please especially on during winter.
Best Vietnamese food
Can't beat the price . Food is good location isn't the best.
I love it. It’s delicious and cheaper than those fancy restaurants
Love their pho ga!!!!
Taste is amazing. Great price.. the restaurant is a little dirty but it gives you the full experience
The hospitality was nonexistent. While my friend and I were eating our server was reaching around us to refill our condiments multiple times. While we were still eating.... Our server also took our meals away prematurely; my friend even told her he wasn't done yet but I guess she wanted us to leave sooner, since she basically told us to leave 20 minutes before they were closed. I understand there was a bit of a language barrier, and that this is a family owned shop. But we paid for our meals that we didn't even get to finish. Never returning.
Excellent pho. Not a fancy place but its delicious and to the point. Offers run of the mill bubble tea and Thai iced tea also.
Delicious pho and a slightly larger menu than the other Vietnamese restaurant down the street. We got a large pho $8 and a stir fried rice noodle $10 and banh xeo $7. Bubble teas are $2 each. Do not recommend the bubbles or the tea. Queens wins hands down on drinks. Maybe the Vietnamese coffee would be better.
Great food and cheap - highly recommended over other Pho in the area
Great place to eat at or order from. They have really good food. Usually very large portions for a good price. I enjoy their soup with shrimp, pork and clear noodles. I also get their chicken and rice with fried rolls on the side.
I really enjoyed my pho dish. It was my first time being there and I didn't know whether to sit down or wait, but I suppose from other reviews you seat yourself. The pho and iced coffee is delicious and when the woman who was helping me said my meal was $10, I was surprised! It was really great. Take the reviews about customer service and the language barrier into consideration. It took a couple tries explaining that I wanted an iced coffee to go on my way out and when she asked me if I wanted my iced coffee to stay, I didn't realize how it would come out and was afraid to ask how to use it. I will come back again.
They have yet to let me down she. It comes to their food. Amazing food, nice atmosphere definitely would eat there every day if I could
Bad service & barely understand English 😔 therefore its difficult to communicate with each other. Food I'd great though but the service beats it for me. 🤷♀️
It's not a fancy place, but very clean and inexpensive. A big bowl of pho or noodles with meat and vegetables costs $8-10 and DELICIOUS Vietnamese coffee for $2 at this time of writing. Friendly staff, but speak little English. No bahn mi, but a nice selection of noodle and rice dishes and good spring rolls. Hoping it was gluten free as I have celiac, but most everything seemed to standard Vietnamese fare, which is usually safe. Great for a quick meal.
My all time favorite place to get pho - nothing around CT compares to how good the pho tastes here. The number 4 & 11 are my favorite pho dishes to get. Love the fried rice here and the number 18 and 31 are delicious too.
Best pho in Fairfield County. Very reasonably priced with large portion sizes (a large could feed two). Love the Vietnamese drinks, like iced coffee with condensed milk and egg soda. The restaurant itself is a bit rough around the edges, but I personally think that adds to the charm. Highly recommend!
Really good pho! I had a coffee bubble tea and it was definitely my favorite I've tried in a long time.
Hands down the BEST Pho around. Old world values comes through in the taste, small Ma & Pa place.
We finally had a chance to go to Pho Saigon recently and loved the food very much. My friends told me this IS the best Vietnamese restaurant around. It is true! Everything is fresh and flavorful. The place was clean and was filled with families with kids and couples. Highly recommend.
A local earthy place or the locals eat at. Prices very reasonable. Had spring rolls steamed not fried. Melted in my mouth. Thank you for being in my GPS so I could find you.. food was delicious and fresh.. live the way you make coffee at my table
I could eat here daily! Huge portions, great prices. There's always Street parking and it was packed at lunch in a Saturday, that's a good sign..I always order the salad/noodle dish with eggrolls and pork. So much flavor!
You can have a home cooked meal for under 10, but why would you when there is so much other great stuff! Friendly, good, and committed to simple and authentic food.
The food is tasty at a good price.
Excellent food great flavor... give a 100% excellence
We stopped here on our way home to NYC and are glad we did. Piping hot savory broth & yummy noodles. Pho came out right away. Comfortable atmosphere and was only $7 for a big bowl.
I ordered a number 19 and as I go inside to pay, I see the staff transferring food with their bare hands. No gloves at all. That place is disgusting.
Definitely a family run business. This is a small place but The Pho is delicious! One thing to note is that this place is a sit your self type of place... No one is there to greet you or acknowledge your arrival until a few minutes later. this can be seen a little rude to new customers or someone that has never been there. After a while you will notice that this is normal as you see regulars stomp right in and sit down... Definitely a new experience for me.. :) my rating here is towards how tasty the food was and not so much the service.
